Avoid this place like the plague - Anonymous employee Native Rank Employee Review

This place is truly awful. Having worked here for some time, I can confidently say that I would never have accepted a job offer from them had I known how terrible this place truly was. For starters, the pay is terrible. When starting here, I was literally making as much money as a fast food restaurant employee (less so, depending on the restaurant) for a skilled position. Following a raise, I began making almost as much as a manager of a fast food restaurant (yippee). Relatedly, you'll be offered a salary but paid on an hourly basis. Despite this hourly pay, YOU WILL NEVER BE ELIGIBLE FOR OVERTIME. I recall a former employee coming in hours before start time and often staying late, which benefitted him in absolutely no way. To make matters worse, there are disorganized project managers that will push you to be worked like a dog to compensate for their shortcomings. Upper management can be alright at times, but issues that are constantly being brought to them often see little to no resolution. The CEO, George, is an apparently money hungry individual who I'm sure does not know my name despite my lengthy tenure here. He brags about how much money he makes to his employees, most of which can barely keep their heads above water due to how little he pays them. Speaking of which, the pay disparity between employees of different departments is also incredibly apparent, giving me the feel that this company employs a turn-and-burn strategy as the turnover rate in a few departments is immense. Advancement is also a joke here, should you be offered a promotion, you'll likely receive a $1 raise at best to assume a slew of new responsibilities. Furthermore, this company is notorious for screwing clients over, so other marketing companies you hope to employ you will likely turn an eye from you should they know anything about Native Ranks reputation of putting forth mostly subpar work (I'd know, exactly that happened to me for this exact reason). I could go on for days about how bad working here truly is, but I'll end with wholeheartedly suggesting that no one should accept an offer extend by Native Rank.
