Pros

There are some interesting engineering challenges. Mostly nice coworkers. Maxed out developer laptops with the option to pick your poison (Windows/Linux/Mac). You can be very flexible with your working hours and WFH is possible.

Cons

UK engineers are massively overpaid, on average probably 200-300% more than those based in Sweden. Even stock options are given more generously to UK engineers. The message is that the company is trying to get to cashflow positive, yet most hiring happens in the UK engineering organization, which eats up all profit and cost savings, while the Swedes get nothing. Career levels and compensation differences are completely arbitrary. There are "Staff" and "Senior Staff" engineers that have no idea of what they're doing. There is an official policy with levels descriptions but it's not clear which purpose it serves. The Malmö and London offices are good looking and nice for social gatherings but not for doing any meaningful software development since they are loud and noisy open landscapes. Quarterly planning sessions are massively painful and wasteful. There is a lot of unnecessary travel between the offices. Managers have generally no clue of what's going on and have more engineers to manage than they can handle.
