Pros

I was lucky enough to work within a close-knit team under a manager that genuinely cared about me and my development. My role (within marketing) offered lots of opportunities.

Cons

There’s a toxic culture within Neptune that stems from the founders downwards and so unfortunately has no chance of changing. Staff are overworked and undervalued by those further up. The founders have absolutely no tact when it comes to feedback and criticism (never constructive). They clearly do not value long-standing and loyal members of staff. Founders are more concerned with image than being truthful with either their staff or customers. Neptune went through a period of redundancy in 2022 which saw many head office staff let go. The communication from ‘up high’ during this period was shocking and insensitive. The ‘collective consultation’ period was clearly merely a formality. And it seems that very little was done prior to this period to prevent the need to let go of staff.

Pros

Very few besides the dismal pay and nearly nonexistent hours.

Cons

There are many. Overworked, underpaid, never appreciated. Horribly run company that does not pay their techs consistently. The owners do not care about customers or employees.
