Pros
-High and competitive base salary (not worth the soul sucking cons though) -Remote work with autonomy over your schedule
Cons
-Micromanagement to the highest degree. Not one thing can be accomplished without approval from the CEO (or maybe one of his minions if he’s feeling generous) -Absolutely zero respect for employees or customers -CEO toxically gossips to employees about each other, then complains about typical workplace chatter -Every man for themselves mentality. Leaders are encouraged to throw employees and counterparts under the bus to make themselves look good -HR is not real. There is no HR leader, the team reports directly into the CEO. And back to the fact that he has to approve everything, there is no true collaborative people support, so if you’re having an issue, be comfortable with him being aware of all the details -Poor benefits with the highest copays and premiums -Consistently late on bonuses. Told they’re a privilege even though they are earned and documented. However, goals are either so outrageous or communicated so late into the year, the opportunity to earn said bonuses is almost nonexistent -CEO says jump, the leaders of the company say how high. If you don’t worship him and his minions, you are ignored, belittled, and pushed out.
