Pros

Nothing good to say about Fac. and Colo.

Cons

I have worked for many years. Facility and Colocation department worst department I have ever worked. There are many projects that were very delayed because of the super high turnovers there. The staff there typical leave in a few months and many staff left even before confirmation. Staff worked very long hours, typically 12-14 hours daily and also worked for many hours on weekends. Some staff developed mental issues there while others left without a job. I have worked long hours in my previous work (14 hours, 7 days a week) but for a period of time (2 months). However, to work for 14 hours daily throughout the year is not reasonable. Department head is totally unsympathetic towards the hardworking staff. He has no concern for the welfare of the staff but sets deadline that can only be met by working long hours. The department head has high IQ but zero EQ. Department meetings are scolding sessions on why work progress are slow. He does not take in suggestions and also does not admit mistakes. People work for a living, not to sell their lives to Netlink. Should have check glassdoor before joining Netlink.

Pros

Worked as an Associate Engineer and gained valuable exposure to Singapore’s telecom infrastructure and network operations. The company provides a stable working environment with opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues. Good place for fresh graduates or engineers who want to understand project coordination, contractor management, and operational processes. Colleagues are generally supportive and teamwork across departments is decent.

Cons

Career progression may feel slow unless you actively take on additional responsibilities

Pros

The working environment is quite stable, and the colleagues are supportive, which makes it easier to learn and adapt. The company also provides good exposure to infrastructure operations on a large scale, and the work-life balance is better than what you usually hear about in other industries. I also like that NetLink Trust encourages continuous improvement through Lean initiatives. There are opportunities to share ideas, improve workflows, and actually see changes being implemented.

Cons

Because the company is currently evolving and implementing new initiatives, employees may experience changing priorities and an increase in adhoc work. The pace of change can occasionally be challenging while teams adapt to the new direction.
