Pros

I work in the technologi division and have done for more than 4 years (up until a year ago it was all NetPay Merchant Services). It is exciting to be working on projects for big banks and rewarding when we see our technology helping them get customers. The directors work hard to make the atmosphere inclusive, there are people from 13 countries in the team I work in and I really do feel part of a NetPay "family". When I have had issues, the directors have supported me through whatever. I came as a graduate and have been promoted twice. We have fruit/brunch friday, outside events like bowling, pension, discount vouchers.

Cons

When we have big projects, we have to work overtime to be able to meet the project plan this can be a lot of hours with some of the projects. Overtime for major projects is paid at double time though, food paid for whilst we are here and taxi's to get to work and get home.

Pros

It is a convenient walk to local shops. You get fruit once a week Company pension It has potential but the negatives outweigh the positives

Cons

If you like to be micromanaged within an inch of your life and never truly get to make a decision for yourself then go for it. Toxic atmosphere in the office. You never know A) what mood the management team are in B) this can change in a blink of an eye C) Your work colleagues and management will be your best "friends" a term used all the time and means nothing but they will stab you in the back in a heartbeat to detract from their own incompetency. Watch your back and keep your head down. You will always feel anxious that you are not doing a good job or if you get invited into the glass office on a Friday afternoon you will question whether you are about to be told you are sacked. There is high staff turnover and it is always the employees fault and not the management style or lack of support. No flexible working Constant money problems, suppliers not being paid etc.
