Pros

I enjoy continually learning, and working at Netmark gives me that ability. The world of Digital Marketing is so broad and our clients' needs are so diverse that there is always something new you need to figure out, not to mention that the industry itself is still evolving at a rapid pace so there are always new programs, methods, theories, etc.. It's very fast-paced and you have to "think" hard all the time. I enjoy that. I also appreciate the fact that the owners of the company really care about the clients and delivering excellent results. There are times when someone (even myself) has messed something up or made a mistake of some sort on a client account and the owners go out of their way to make sure the problem is rectified, even in the cases where it requires the company to go into the red.

Cons

High stress. Some clients are very difficult to deal with and have much higher expectations than what they should.

Pros

I worked at Netmark for over 3 years in various administrative roles. While the company isn't perfect, it's doing a good job in a lot of areas. There are many skilled digital marketers working there, and it's a great place for employees to jumpstart their careers. There are some good employment perks that you won't find at most other companies. The vending machines sell food at cost. They have ping pong, pool, air hockey, spikeball, and basketball. The founders are a great pair. They keep each other in check on many different levels. One of the founders is a brilliant data scientist and the other is a creative risk-taker. A lot can be learned from each of them. I believe that as long as they are intimately involved with the details of the company, it will flourish.

Cons

Netmark has had a difficult time hanging on to skilled managers over the last few years. I'm not exactly sure why that is. It may be the lack of a benefits package, but I doubt it. I think it might be the natural growing pains of any company in this position. Many of the people I have spoken with who have left Netmark have said that they have dealt with the same problems they encountered at Netmark in their next positions.
