Pros

Flexible PTO for exempt employees Not much oversight and micromanagement Most employees are amazingly talented and technical but they are disengaged and putting in what they get back

Cons

Poor communication. Low wages. A clunky government contractor trying to look cool The merger to form Neumo is causing good people to leave in droves. Merged companies put their employees' needs on hold, only to find out, now that they're merged, they're all still on hold Paul (CEO) is trying to put out fires, but he doesn't understand what regular people are going through. Definitely an old-school vibe of 'shut up and do your job'. But hey, Paul's dog is the mascot, so he's having a good time with it Good employees are still hanging on despite insurance premiums increasing and no raises for 3yrs. There's a strong sense that once the end of Q1 2025 comes around and it's time for Neumo to pay up (as they promised to payout bonuses and give raises), it's going to be a case of 'too little too late' I strongly recommend staying away from any company owned by Arlington Capital. They will run companies into the ground if it means their shareholders get another boat

Pros

Three companies merged; three distinct cultures now combined. Inserting new leadership and aligning on values is good for the business. We're introducing better process and strategy with broader impact. Neumo now has a strong hand on innovation and product improvement. Lots of expected growth.

Cons

Post-merge has been a bumpier ride than many employees could tolerate and attrition is an issue. Our leadership at that time failed to foreshadow the complications of mergers (salary, benefits, structure, parity, et. al.) and how they affect employees in different markets. Now remaining employees have to do more with less. Executives need prescience.

Pros

The stated goal of the company to "Serving Government ...." could be extremely lucrative.

Cons

This company is owned by a venture capital group so if you apply for a position at Neumo, understand what that means.
