Neural Technologies

Is this your company?

Not worth it if you're in the UK and a techie. - Professional Services Neural Technologies Employee Review

Pros

The customers, it is an opportunity to work with a diverse set of clients all over the world and gain some Telecoms knowledge. The compensation and holiday allowance was good, but the pension is average and there are no benefits like healthcare, life insurance, car allowance, etc. You used to get free fruit and drinks but they appear to be migrating away from office working to remote working.

Cons

Neural has always been a difficult place to work. It tends to ask a lot of some employees and not a lot of others. This can cause resentment in the ranks. It has recently been acquired and is going through some changes and a great deal of the staff are very unsettled. Look at socials to see how many have left globally from the end of 2021 into 2022. For techies, it is an every decreasing footprint in the UK and offering little to no career progression. The company hasn't always had a clear product direction. Not sure if it's a fraud/credit risk company, or an integration company or a big data company. There is some fairly heavy politics behind this but hopefully the acquisition will solve this problem...

Pros

The company has some great people working for them. It's a great environment.

Cons

Management makes decisions without knowing all the details. If more employees would be involved, better decisions would be made.
