I have been working at Next Insurance full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Overall, Next Insurance is one of the best employers I have worked for and I have had a varied career. The leadership from the top down is transparent, reactive to employee concerns, and operates without ego. The CEO, CFO, and COO are just genuinely good people, so it makes working for them quite easy. Some other great aspects of the company, the benefits are great, compensation is competitive, and the company culture...

    Cons

The commute is really the only con for me, but the company and people make it worth it.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in your employees. You did a great job hiring outstanding, smart, and ambitious people. If we can keep this level of quality employees, we will truly be unstoppable.

I have been working at Next Insurance full-time

    Pros

Some people who work there are nice, unfortunately these will be the ones taken advantage of

    Cons

Recruiters are third party (outside of the office, visit maybe twice a year) and commission-based. Consistent false promises from upper management about career advancement when they only ever hire from the outside. If you would like to be promoted, please be sure to work hard -- on slandering your fellow teammates, or bullying them until they quit.

    Advice to Management

You operate with more bureaucracy than large, publicly owned companies. You have a cancer on one of your teams that caused large numbers of employees to leave at the same time, and they are being rewarded.

I have been working at Next Insurance full-time

    Pros

I was a little apprehensive jumping into the insurance industry, but it has ended up being a great choice so far! The company is full of people who are both kind and incredibly hardworking, and are all trying to revolutionize the customer's relationship with insurance. It's truly a great community to be a part of. My supervisor is wonderful, and as much as our team has a commitment to help our customers, she has a commitment...

    Cons

Particularly in the Insurance Advisor role, we experience a lot of seasonality due to our customer base that do create times where there's very high volume. When that happens, the role can really just become a daily grind, but I think you're going to find something comparable in nearly any role.
