Pros

Nice office and location Colleagues (if any are still there) Casual and Laid Back environment Work from home Free lunch 3 days a week Encourage innovation Good learning opportunities if you are willing to grasp No problems with the general office environment

Cons

This place is not for you if you are supporting a family, paying mortgage or your wife/husband are unemployed, they will let you go at a blink of an eye in a very undignified manner. If you are young college grad and looking for a good time go for it. Management do not know how to step up in a crisis. They do not have anything to offer to improve the falling morale of the employees due to the rounds of firing. They are unwilling to listen to employee issues. In one recent meeting CEO was clearly heard saying that he does not care if people leave. Their product is quite bad too. They have it developed by young inexperienced developers to save cost and now it is out of hand. As the aftermath of firings, majority of the core team has left and you are pretty much on your own to dig out why and how things are done this way. And If you haven't done your research before accepting a job, chances are they will pay you around 30% below the market rate.

Pros

Some of the best and smartest people I have ever worked with. The departments speak to each other and everyone has a great attitude.

Cons

The traffic going home was sometimes challenging. I am an early person, so I did not need to deal with morning traffic. The views from the office help offset the traffic.

Pros

-The people are some of the brightest in the area. You can form great professional connections and friendships with them. -The office is really nice. -Lunch is served 3 days a week. -As a Microsoft partner, you get to work with some of the latest Microsoft technologies. Mostly .Net based and the product lives on SharePoint. -A lot of customers, and are in a pretty good position in the market. Could potentially take advantage of that.

Cons

-There are constant firings and massive layoffs about every 6 months. -Management does not like to hear advice. During one occasion an anonymous list of concerns was gathered by the employees. These concerns included: Performance reviews based off of nothing, bad bonuses, constant layoffs, no defined career path, no honesty from management concerning layoffs/performance of company, unrealistic deadlines, agile process thrown out when convenient, "hero" culture emerging. Management held a meeting to address these concerns, but in it they stated that they did not read the list yet, and if anyone is on the fence...please leave. -People that make check-ins at 2am are rewarded, while other intelligent and hard workers that put in 40 hours are either ignored, or at times forced out of the company. Even official rewards are given out with bullet points for working over 40 hours a week and putting in weekends often. -Employees are sometimes treated poorly. It is often stated that to the employee, it should be an honor to work at NextDocs. They do not seem to value that the employee has chosen to work for them. -A company that thought it would be growing rapidly at this point is instead shrinking. This first happened with the massive layoffs, and then when people tested the booming market. -Lastly, HR posts reviews on here.
