NitraDon’t work here 2.0 - Anonymous employee Nitrado Employee Review

My original review for Nitrado was actually incorrectly reported by Nitrado and taken down from the Glassdoor website. Further proving to me that Nitrado only cares about its public image and not the well-being of its workers. Ah shoot, here we go again Workers are over worked and under paid with some employees taking up second jobs or sleeping in their vehicles to make ends meet. I myself was unable to afford to heat my house during the winter, despite working from home. This meant my working environment had a temperature of around 4 degrees celsius at its very worst. Staff is actively discriminated against, if you are not a straight, white, male, your opinion or feelings on matters will not be taken into consideration. I witnessed explicit discrimination towards trans employees to the point where they were even being paid less than their peers. Working for Nitrado absolutely ruined my mental health. I was actively suicidal during my last few months there as it was drilled into me by Nitrado management that my self worth was based on how much work I’d done. I was made to feel like it was my responsibility to keep the sister company afloat. At times it felt like Nitrado management actually enjoyed treating us like dirt, to the extent where it wasn’t unheard of for management to laugh and make jokes about workers that were being emotional during meetings. A petition was even created to try to force Nitrados hand to treat all of its workers fairly. Six months later and every single individual that signed that petition has been fired, let go, or told they were no longer needed Nitrado culture creates an environment not where you are encouraged to be the best person you can be, it’s a toxic work environment where if you can show leadership that you are heartless, selfish and motivated only by greed, and are willing to stab your friends in the back, then, and only then, you will ever be considered for progression in this company. But even then, the progression is sideways. You will never get into a position where you hold any power in this company.
