Pros

HR team are extremely efficient and helpful in making sure that although I am the only Nium employee in my country I was still onboarded with ease and made feel welcome from the onset. Very knowledgeable bunch of people who clearly have vast experience in their field.

Cons

As a new entrant it can be hard to tell what timezones your colleagues are in but I guess as I get to know folks this wont be an issue.

Thank you for writing a review for Nium! We are glad to note that your experience at Nium has been a welcoming one. We pay a lot of attention to the onboarding experience of every talent into Nium, as we believe properly guided assimilation is very critical for anyone to succeed in the company. None of our achievements would have been possible without the great work and commitment shown by Nium'ers, such as yourself. As an organization, We are constantly evolving and looking for new and unique ways to improve your overall experience at work. As a global organization, we know it can get tough sometimes to engage across time zones. In order to ease these interactions, we have set up blackout times for each timezone. This enables our colleagues can plan for calls outside their timezone for a set time and blackout the rest of the time slots appearing in the after-working-hours zone. We take the feedback provided in your review very seriously and will ensure that we diligently follow through on improving aspects of the company that can change for the better. Our primary goal has always been to create a workplace that truly allows our talent to thrive. On that note, thanks again for writing this feedback and being an invaluable part of Nium. We are proud to have you as a vital element of our growth journey.

Pros

A lot of freedom and the friendliest coworkers I have ever met.

Cons

Needing adjustments from a staff and product perspective. New C-Suites seem to be turning the ship in the right direction

Pros

Office is nice Can't think of anything else...

Cons

- Work produced by outsourced teams is rarely critiqued or challenged, while internal contributions are scrutinized with a focus on shortcomings rather than outcomes. - No camaraderie, no professionalism, no empathy, no mutual respect. If you can't be sucked up to, your fellow employees will treat you like trash. - Leadership often appears reactive rather than strategic, with limited clarity on direction or long-term planning. Communication tends to rely on hollow buzzwords. - Ego runs rampant; if someone thinks their hot stuff they'll make it known at every single meeting. - There appears to be limited investment in coaching or professional development. Repeated mistakes occur across all levels, especially with so called senior employees. This raises questions about role expectations and the consistency of standards.
