Pros

Working remotely, pay is decently competitive

Cons

My time at this company has been quite disappointing. There's been zero focus on professional development, and NF has shown little interest in supporting their employees. Unequal pay issues and gender bias + favoritism is evident throughout the organization. Team bonding is virtually non-existent, with just a quarterly virtual happy hour for camaraderie. Company culture is very much lacking. The leadership team often misrepresents the numbers, creating a rosy picture while the organization is actually struggling. Tenure employees are getting the short end of the stick by getting treated unfairly and trying to get replaced. In my honest opinion, the way this company conducts business is embarrassing. Employees suffer from a lack of training and guidance and are left to navigate their roles without any support. They will promise you a lot of things when offering you a position, but they will fulfill none of them.

Pros

talented people who really try

Cons

This place is a sinking ship. You can tell management is stressed and it’s lowering morale. There has been a lot of unnecessary change and if you’re one of the few favorites this is your time to shine. Otherwise the company is looking for scapegoats for its declining performance. The company leans heavy on operations without investing or understanding other areas of the business very well, lacking strategic vision. This has contributed to a toxic micromanagement approach because the top doesn’t have a clear view of where they’re going. They expect you to move fast and break things but if you break things you’re in big trouble or you get hit with some sort of uphill battle in whatever you do next/moving forward. This work environment is not very conducive to a growth and testing mindset and you can expect to have eyes on you if you color outside the lines. So at the end of the day the pace feels very corporate but the expectation is you move at startup speed. Very confusing and unsupportive system. Hard to do your best work here.
