Interesting work, great co-workers (most no longer at company), good pay and benefits.

Despite having been one of the top programmers and doing a great job for them they laid me off with zero warning and no severance. Totally cold and heartless. They did not even let my manager know so he could not give me a warning. When laid off I was treated exactly like I was being fired for cause. Instead of being shown some respect and courtesy for being a top employee. Also did it right before the holidays, most Scrooge like.
