Where to start.... Our recent Great Places to Work survey speaks volumes, where we scored in the very low 60's across the board. This is largely down to a very poor UK leader and global leadership who have made a series of terrible decisions which, unfortunately alot of my colleagues and friends have paid the price for this through a series of secret redundancies. - UK Leader - Openly abusive in the office and treats the rest of the SLT like children, anybody else speaking like this to colleagues would face HR. - Series of terrible decisions which have became famously known as his tag line "Bad bets, and bad investments" this has resulted in a number of redundancies, there is zero job security here. - UK leader likes to change direction at short notice, if challenged, you will be face a barrage of abuse. This has created a culture of fear. - Feed off the scraps of IBM, which means we are constantly scraping the barrel to hit targets. This also creates a culture of uncertainty over our jobs, as IBM has all the skills we have, so Nordcloud UK may get absorbed into IBM in the coming year or two. - Projects always seem to go into the red, through poor project initiation and management, again the UK leader likes to get over involved and causes more problems than necessary, bullying and treating staff horribly in the process. - We have lost some exceptional talent over the last year at the expense of cutting cost and hitting year end targets to satisfy IBM and ultimately leadership personal KPI's. - Benefits are non-existent and not worth the tax we pay on them. - Not had a pay rise for a year and a half, then was offered a measly tiny percentage increase on my salary before the holidays, it was an insult and does not reflect market value. Again, this is to satisfy leaderships KPI's with IBM so they can get their big payout. For anyone thinking of joining us, steer clear, many of us want to leave the minute the market opens up in the new year.
