      Pros

      Small company! The concept of understanding the resistance mechanism in cancer is exciting!

      Cons

      Not a healthy scientific environment! The research directors don't have much scientific experience. Some of the managers (both in Biology and Chemistry) are very biased in recruitment (openly say that they want only this/that gender!).

      Pros

      I had a very nice experience at ORIC! Everyone I met was eager to teach me about the exciting processes the go on at the company. It was an amazing experience to see both the scientific processes and the positive and collaborative environments in one setting.

      Cons

      If you do not have a place to live before the internship, then your living will not be covered, so this internship is recommended for Bay Area residents if that is of concern to you before you apply.

      Pros

      ORIC was a wonderful place to intern. Oric is full of friendly faces and knowledgeable scientists and staff dedicated to making a difference in the Oncology space. Would go back in a heartbeat.

      Cons

      The area is expensive, but compensation is measured.
