Cons

Upper management does not know the product, so they make promises to customers that are not even possible. The product has a long way to go. In order to please investors, it was forced to be live when it was not ready. That on top of many more not thought out, premature decisions, were made just for money. In an attempt to get more investors. Long-term solutions/impacts are not considered when upper management makes decisions, hence the company’s current downfall. They are laying people off left and right, just cut the company in half 2 weeks ago, and did it in the most unprofessional way. Notified people via PERSONAL EMAIL first, did not tell those peoples’ managers so managers were unaware as well, hosted a meeting with the whole company present, listed reasons for laying people off (which were incorrect and simply assumptions) and then continued to discuss the future of the product, company, revenue, etc. IN FRONT OF those that were just laid off. Very tone deaf.

Pros

Not very many but if I have to pick I'd say working in my pajamas and working with/learning from the little people actually doing the work.

Cons

Every.single.other.thing! The entire C-suite have outlandish expectations for everyone but themselves. They've lied so many times to clients that they have no clue what the truth is anymore. The CEO made countless claims the company was moving in a positive direction only to turn around and layoff 99% of the staff while placing all blaim on the board and saying it came out of no where(we know you're lying Ivan). He still won't face the staff remaining just sends his minions to give bad news or puts in on the project managers. If the investors truly want this platform to succeed they better get rid of the "captain" who's driving this sinking ship.
