Pros

Learn a lot of valuable lessons. Lot of inspirational story's and mentality. Network with opportunities present.

Cons

Carrot at the end of a stick. If you work hard it doesn't mean you'll succeed. Need to have a strong mentality to stay focused and they say big numbers that aren't realistic. Sometimes the numbers wont add up for your pay checks. You can do 30 sales in a week and make base pay ($350 full time after taxes for me) depending on cancellations and rescheduling. Titles dont mean anything. Corporate Trainer or Top accountant manager is the same thing as a guy that got hired 2 weeks ago. Lots of driving to different stores. Everyone hates us because DirecTV and At&t gives people horrible issues with signal, cost, and customer service. You'll have plenty of people yell at you and put you in extremely uncomfortable positions where you seem as if you are the face of DirecTV. Pros

You learn to have an entrepreneur mindset, develop public speaking and leadership skills, you get to network with people from all walks of life, travel opportunities. If you’re a good sales person you have the opportunity to make more than 800 a week (uncapped commission)

Cons

Schedule changes on weekly basis, you have to be at the office at 8am for an hour -4-5 Times a week even if you’re off that day, once you figure out the sales portion of the business, now you have to train others without making any commission off them- Considering most of those people will leave so not only you loose people on your team, but also money that could’ve been yours. Extremely High turnover rate!!! When it comes to road trips, you’re on your own with all the car expenses. Only try it if you have nothing to loose, can sell, have an entrepreneur mindset or want experience in sales as well as leadership development. Also there are tons of offices like this one with better leadership. This one is ok but is definitely not on top of the hierarchy, which means they lack of leadership and therefore is hard to grow with them unless you already know how to and do not need leadership to guide you all the way.
