      I worked at this company for less than a year and found the experience to be challenging. While it’s expected that PR agencies are high-stress environments, the response expectations were extremely demanding, often requiring replies within 10–20 minutes. This contributed to a sense of constant pressure, and at times, it felt like minor delays led to escalations that could have been handled differently. There were no clearly defined roles, responsibilities, or promotional pathways, which created uncertainty about expectations and career progression. Feedback from colleagues was the only way they measured performance, and many times it felt subjective and inconsistent, leading to confusion about performance standards. The culture felt cliquey. I encountered breaches of personal privacy that were uncomfortable. For example, personal information I shared with senior staff was later discussed openly without my consent and also shared with clients. While Offleash operates remotely, the workload often extended beyond typical hours, which impacted work-life balance significantly. Aside from learning to work in a fast-paced industry, I didn't gain much from my experience and feel there is significant room for improvement. Based off my experience, I would not recommend working here.

      It is a fast-paced industry with deadlines and demands. Anyone who joins our team receives clear roles and responsibilities from the start (this information is included in the job post, interview process, and offer letter.) We have a comprehensive training program that exposes new colleagues to various people, programs, and skills to ensure feeling confident in the position and most importantly part of the team. There are individual roadmaps, and managers collect regular feedback to understand learning and growth. Our managers and mentors receiving ongoing training, too. Sharing personal information without consent absolutely goes against our ethos and core values but without context is difficult to address. Thank you for the feedback and disappointed your experience was not a more positive one.

      I've been doing PR for over 30 years and have worked full-time for some agencies and as a contractor for many many others. What you all have at Offleash is unseen and un-experienced at least for me in my career. The comraderie, team-building, encouragement, authentic conversations, and all-day everyday rah rah spirit is at an incredible premium in this industry. Most agencies I've worked at or for are built to pit one person against another, constantly causing friction. The prevailing attitude is "I can't be happy when Timmy or Tammy succeed because that makes me look bad." At Offleash, the attitude is flipped. Over the past 5 years that I've been working with the great Offleash team, I've found that it's all about congratulating each other for the small and big feats of strength we do every day and instead of making that create competition, it creates teamwork and bonding like I've never seen. When we rejoice with one another, that makes us all want to be better for ourselves, our clients and each other. This team is breeding success every single day and I'm a lucky man to be part of it! Thank you for allowing me this phenomenal experience where it actually doesn't feel like work...it just feels like home.

      I think the con is that I'm not full-time, but that's a personal preference.
