Pros

Non-Admin Coworkers are all pretty awesome Good Pay Flexibility in schedule

Cons

C-Level and HR leadership are all top down strategy but lack the context or understanding to be effective with this leadership style. Everything is very closed door, prepare to be lied to and mislead regarding opportunities, training, and promotions. Everything is up in the air until the last minute and then it's rush rush rush to get it done, but not properly and not in a transparent or patient centric way. There is next to no planning for any initiatives or activities, they are cobbled together last second and appear so. C-Level and Upper level HR are extremely privileged people and it shows in their interactions and lack of interactions with various employees and patients in the clinic. They lack the perspective to see things from anything other than 100k income perspective. They aren't even aware that employees have to use PTO to watch their children because they aren't paid enough to afford child-care, but leadership seems to think those people don't exist. I've watched for over a year holding out hope that leadership here would be more progressive, researched, and disciplined in their approach. Sadly, I have been met with disappointment after disappointment and no sign of intent to change their "leadership" style. The culture and values Cares espouses to have are merely lip-service.

Pros

I’ve had a positive experience working here. The organization’s mission is meaningful, and it’s rewarding to know the work we do has a direct impact on improving access to healthcare for the community. Being part of a federally qualified health center adds a strong sense of purpose to the work. One of the things I appreciate most is the supportive culture. Employees are encouraged to grow professionally, and leadership is generally receptive to new ideas and process improvements. There is a collaborative environment where people genuinely want to help each other succeed.

Cons

Fast-paced environment, changing priorities, and occasional growing pains as the organization expands.

Pros

. If you don’t want a bill go there they w/o everything

Cons

Leadership clueless. C-suite just for somewhere for a suit to be. Don’t listen to staff in the trenches . If your not in Leadership or a favorite you are invisible. constant system issues creates 10 times more work. Departments are expected to do other departments work daily because they don’t get it. Even if that is not what you were hired for . Then complain about production Not a thrustful environment. In your face favoritism Not compliant with state payers .took away $25.00 Thanksgiving and Christmas (taxed ) bonuses couldn’t afford it any more. Replaced with lunches
