Pros

Most of the fellow designers were nice. For the most part didn't have to stay late/overtime.

Cons

This company is a joke, owners are stuck in an antiquated mentality. Everyone in upper management is a nepo baby with no experience/education. They all thought COVID was a joke even though the CEO almost died from it. No mask wearing, blatant anti-mask wearing speak/covid slander was a day-to-day occurrence in 2020-2021. Pay is also subpar, good luck getting a raise unless you get another job offer and use it as leverage. The head of the department I was in would also swear and make racist & classist remarks in both internal meetings and client facing meetings. I would say stay away at all costs.

Pros

I am a manger at one step up. I have been here over 17 years I've been reading SOME of the reviews, I find them extremely inaccurate and seems they are from former disgruntled employees. I also think the only people that write these reviews ARE FORMER EMPLOYEES (. Because there are so many divisions at one step up there is a lot of opportunity for growth as I began here as a sales and administrative assistant and I now manage a large division. Hands on CEO. 401K - with employer contribution INSURANCE 6 sick/personal days 2 weeks vacation after one year of employment (1 week 1st year)

Cons

Large company so there is red tape to navigate through as with other large companies

Pros

Great company to work at if you’re beginning your career as you may wear several different hats to help you gain experience.

Cons

The company does not take good care of their employees. Health and benefits could use some work. Benefits in particular are extremely dated.
