Pros

There are some genuine people that work at OneHope and sometimes we get food from chapels or leftovers from a meeting. Some people that work there are the most down to earth people I’ve ever met.

Cons

Leaders sit on money and do not care about the people beneath them. Some let you know that they genuinely don’t care about your well-being. Leaders expect you to serve and suck up to them and have no idea about what it means to be a servant leader. Also, the PTO situation sucks because you have to wait to accrue them and there are no sick days. If you cannot work remote in general, you have to use PTO when you’re sick. Some hourly folks are forced to clock out and work overtime to get things done because some VPs don’t like you going overtime. A lot of leaders are not nice once you’re there long enough. Some departments do not make you feel safe because of who you’re under.

Pros

Great benefits, you can learn A LOT depending on your department and supervisors, options to travel and meet people from different cultures, place to make friends and built community, and if you agree with the mission, can be meaningful work.

Cons

Poor pay, very flat organization and little opportunity to gain significant promotions. Very demanding work for too little money. A bit of sexist workplace as in men received much more ability to have opportunities. VERY nepotistic and favorites played often. HR didn't get very far with complaints either.
