Pros

Great opportunity if you just graduated from school. You can learn a lot about the luxury wellness industry. Casual work environment. Good, honest and hard working employees.

Cons

Let me start off by saying the company is great and one-of-a-kind. But the CEO really needs to step down and let someone else run the show. He micromanages everyone to the point where you feel like your work is never good enough. There is a considerable lack of communication between departments. One hand does not know what the other hand is doing. There are no benefits other than the regular sick or vacation days. Departments are overworked and understaffed. Do not expect to get paid your worth. The CEO will negotiate some kind of bonus structure to get out of paying you. Do not show off skills beyond your regular job duties, they will take advantage and not compensate you for the extra effort or work. There is an undercurrent of both sexual harassment and racial discrimination. So if you are anything other than a white male, expect to be treated differently. Products are launched at the behest of the CEO and no one will know about it. The morale is so low that it makes it hard remaining positive at work. Your position can change in an instant without notice. There is a lot of confusion when it comes to duties and structure. The company culture starts at the head and is not a good example for other to follow.

Pros

I’ve really enjoyed working here. The environment is supportive, collaborative, and team-oriented. People are willing to jump in and help each other, and there’s a strong sense that everyone is working toward the same goals. Our CEO does a great job setting the tone. He’s approachable, transparent, and clear about the direction of the company. You can tell he genuinely cares about the team and wants the business to succeed for everyone. That kind of leadership makes a big difference day to day.

Cons

Things move quickly, so you need to be adaptable.
