Pros

Have made good friends in other teams.

Cons

A lot of cliquey-ness within a lot of other teams and management don’t always act on feedback given. No room for improvement. Pay is shocking for the work we do.

Pros

Some departments allow you to work from home. Clean, modern offices. Snacks provided. Can be a temporary starting point if you're early in your career. Some genuinely nice people.

Cons

Fire and Rehire Mentality: I watched countless people come and go. This ranged from starter positions to senior staff who've poured years into the company. Nobody was safe, creating a sense of fear amongst staff. Horrendously Fake and Catty Energy: This is noticeable from day one. The atmosphere is genuinely horrible and gossiping is rampant. Cliques are formed, leading to borderline bullying - regardless of gender and age. Extreme Testing: From the start you will have to consistently prove yourself. You will receive little to no training, however. Goal posts will shift whether you like it or not. Awful Management: Hierarchy is there purely to establish dominance. Managers will make mistakes and blame others, then completely forget and believe their own lies. Virtue signalling is common. Company Hated By Customers and Staff: Onecom has multiple hate groups established by customers, with many being unsatisfied with the level of service. Complaints and negative feedback are overwhelming. 90% of staff look burned out. Many Genuinely Awful People: Many staff have zero humility or self-awareness. Kindness is seen as a weakness. No team-spirit. It appears that the staff that last are the ones who behave this way. Cold and Rude HR Department: Even though you're bombarded with mental health services when you start, the HR department have zero interest in anyone. You are seen as a number.
