Pros

Ontic has some of the most passionate and talented people I’ve ever worked with. There’s a shared sense of purpose around building something that truly matters - bringing better technology and experiences to an industry that’s long been underserved. The mission and the community we’ve built along the way make it a place you can feel proud to be part of. Ontic isn’t afraid to take big swings, and that ambition has fueled a lot of our growth. Even when we’ve stretched too far, leadership has been willing to redirect resources and adapt, which shows maturity and awareness as we grow.

Cons

As we transition from a scrappy startup to a more structured scale-up, there are growing pains. We sometimes sign up for more than we should, and the pace of change can be intense. The increasing layers of management mean communication and alignment are more critical than ever - sometimes decisions or strategy shifts aren’t communicated as clearly or consistently as they could be. That can make it hard for teams to stay connected to the “why” behind priorities.

Pros

- Ontic has strong, supportive leadership that truly invests in the tools and people we need to do our jobs well. - The welcoming culture makes it easy to connect with colleagues through networking opportunities and fun events, which really helps you feel part of the team. - I’ve also been encouraged to attend courses and events tailored to my role, which has helped me grow both personally and professionally. - A great place to build your career while feeling valued.

Cons

- Fast-paced environment – exciting, but sometimes means juggling a lot at once. - Lots of change as the company grows – keeps things interesting, but can take time to adjust. - High expectations – great for motivated people, but not for those looking to coast. - Processes are still evolving – normal for a growing company, but sometimes means figuring things out on the fly.
