      Aweful experience but met cool people - Team Leader Ontop Employee Review

      Pros

      The only good thing is that you met a lot of people and they made you feel part of a community

      Cons

      They overpromise, you work 12h a day, with not clear goals and projects come and go all the time. They fire people without any notice or justification. I was hired for a role that was not the one that they hired me, they asked me to do way over my pay rate and build a product from scratch which was not my job. At the end they tried to gave me a promotion but with the same salary and more responsibilities and they got offended when I declined the new position. Worst experience ever!! Worked there 3 months but felt like 2 years..

      Leadership are absolutely clueless on how to run a business. Nobody knows what they're doing, it's actually hilarious. If you're considering joining Ontop, I would absolutely recommend NOT doing so. Exec team works everyone like slaves because their one goal is cashing out, they don't care about you and will lay off teams 5 days before Christmas. The product is garbage. No one knows what real growth looks like or how to make it happen. Go apply at Deel, Remote, Rippling, etc.
