Overworked, under appreciated, and talked down to - Anonymous employee Optical 2000 Employee Review

Little to no incentives to work well. Work given is more than job role, and then no compensation or praise is given. Responsibilities of higher ups is given to employees of lower positions, again with no praise but only criticism. Lots of nepotism. I was given the opportunity to rise up in company upon hiring, but the job was continually given to other outside hires who either kept quitting or getting fired. Turnover is quite high. I was scolded when I was open to management about life issues that came up.
