The turnover rate depends more on the difficulty of the projects. Employees in most cases decide to leave because the job is too challenging for them and they don’t feel competent at their job. The new employees are reviewed semiannually and they are compensated for their performance and their commitment to the company. We have a casual and relaxed work environment. We do at times have interns at Openso for few months at a time. At the end of the internship a position may or may not be offered to the intern. Having the interns leave does not constitute as “turnovers”. Engineers that have inadequate technical knowledge and experience may feel the extra pressure from the project deadline approaching in turn might view the office environment as harsh. We do an annual market research to make sure we stay competitive with the market. We might offer lower starting salary, but we give semiannual raises to employees depending on their performance, attitude and dedication. Therefore employee’s salary increases at faster rate than other companies in the same industry plus we have profit sharing that most companies don’t have.
