Pros
- Fun and supportive work environment in Ghent with a young, dynamic team. - We have a flexible schedule, as long as you attend your meetings, you’re free to organize your day. Whether you prefer starting early, working later, or fitting in a workout first, the choice is yours. - 1 mandatory office day on Wednesday to be together with the whole team, other days you can choose to work from home or at the office. On that day we have lunch together, it is a nice way to connect each week with the team. - Early opportunities to take on responsibility if you demonstrate strong skills and initiative. - There is plenty of room to grow: make (manageable) mistakes, learn from them, and make independent decisions. - Access to training and courses upon request to support your development. - Open to hiring recent graduates without prior experience, I know this is a chance not every company offers. - Extra employee benefits in Belgium such as insurance and meal vouchers, work from home. I started at Otamiser as an intern and soon grew into a full-time role. It’s a young and dynamic environment where, in just one year, I’ve developed both professionally and personally. The team trusted me even when I didn’t always see my own potential, and they gave me the space to grow. For that, I’m truly grateful to be part of this company. Since it’s still a young organization, some roles come with significant responsibilities and a fair amount of pressure. But as long as you know how to manage your boundaries and stress, it becomes a valuable learning experience. For me, this is the perfect time to grow, challenge myself, and gain knowledge that will benefit me throughout my career.
Cons
- The role comes with a lot of responsibility, which can also mean higher stress or work pressure. As long as you’re able to set your own boundaries and manage this effectively, it doesn’t become an issue and can’t really be seen as a con.
