Pros

decent salary excellent health and dental

Cons

Absolutely the worst working experience I have ever had. All emails in and out are monitored by the owners who act more like an "eye in the sky" than a supportive core. American employees are constantly admonished for taking days off that are earned within company guidelines while Chinese employees receive months+ to go on holiday without the slightest reprimand. Employees are expected to work 18 hour days and if you don't you will be threatened repeatedly with your job or humiliated in front of other coworkers by management. The company will always find a way to deny bonuses even if they're legitimately earned including doctoring sales figures and threatening employees to change their numbers. Sales operates on a rolling target so if sales aren't met for the month, that difference rolls to the next month's target making it impossible to ever hit quotas. No training, no support, total distrust, and constant humiliation. No thank you.

Pros

Pay is competitive and seems to be above the industry average. Vacation and sick leave time is also great. It is a small company, and everyone is responsible for their own specific tasks. If you enjoy working to yourself and being responsible for specific duties, this is certainly a pro. That's not to say that there isn't collaborative efforts within the lab. Communication among the lab staff is good.

Cons

Communication between different departments (Sales, Billing, Bioinformatics, etc.) can be lacking, at times, though improvements are being made.
