Demanding job and often tight deadlines.

I had a very positive time at PCE Investment Bank, as offered me the opportunity to get a glimpse of the investment banking industry without going all the way up to New York City. The most valuable experience that I gained was from working in valuation models, conducting industry/company research, and being a part of the packaging process with pitchbooks. These experiences were important, as I was able to leverage them in order to attain a full-time business in a proximate industry.

While there is definitely a good work-life balance that you wouldn't find any investment banks elsewhere, the workload can certainly be intense at times. At times, the office can feel extremely quiet, so I certainly appreciate some conversing with the associates & management in order to lighten up the environment.
