Pros

The people you work with are nice for the most part

Cons

Withholding tips Does not just give you days off if you need without making you work extra days (unless you’re using pto) You find out what time you’re working the day before Advertise that no one has set schedules, but there are people who in fact have “set” schedules while the rest of us work undesirable shifts and do not have set days off. This leads to us having 7-9 days in between days off because the days we have off are not consistent. A lot of micromanaging A lot of gossip Life revolves around work Night shift does not get paid a premium, but is expected to work forced over time as there is no other shift to relieve you if something goes wrong or is delayed. Every other shift has a relief

Pros

Nice new office. The product itself is great.

Cons

Where to begin. It's like leadership has no idea what they are doing. Communication is non-existent. I've worked in some great companies with amazing cultures and structure and some early stage companies that were pure chaos...this company takes the cake. Most chaotic and disorganized environment I've ever been part of. Hard to believe that a company that has been around as long as they have and were under TPG that they have no structure and can't communicate. To me this all falls on the CEO and her team. Seems they just want to be part of the scene in LA more than they want to create a world class product AND company. Leadership is what is holding this company back from greatness. Their new locations will likely struggle after the initial novelty because they won't be able to address any issues that come up and nuances of customers in these markets. Definitely a cutthroat environment, but only because there really is no chance to grow and who you get as your ally from leadership will determine who gets those few opportunities.
