Pros

Nice people up to middle management. Very poor upper management. No communication.

Cons

New owners seem as though they don't truly care about this company. Seems they're out for a quick profit. Came in one day and laid off a bunch of folks. I would recommend thinking twice before entertaining a job here.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We encourage all employees to communicate openly about their experience while at PSST so we can address concerns such as these and improve the organization. As in all companies, success and a fulfilling career at PSST is dependent on ensuring the role and corporate culture are a fit – both for the employee and the employer. While we do not like to see anyone feeling negative about their experience at PSST, this can occur when that fit isn’t achieved. There are always two sides to every story and understandably, feelings can be amplified in the event of a termination. We work hard to promote transparency and clear communication as we grow and while we are not perfect, we do not agree with this individual’s subjective assessment of our ownership or corporate culture. Thanks again for the feedback and all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

The people at PSST are what it is all about. The leadership is kind and thoughtful but also strategic and calculated. The culture is built on Christian principles but you do not have to be a Christian to work here. The core values are integrity, compassion, client focus and teamwork. People get along really well and the work is demanding but fun, especially when considering the end user, typically a K-12 school district.

Cons

PSST was recently acquired by a VC group out of Pennsylvania. No major changes have come so far but it appears that more focus on profits are emerging. While a business certainly needs to be profitable, PSST has been built on caring client service and a culture like none I have ever been a part of. I hope this does not change!
