Pros
Small company in the transportation industry. You will learn a lot about import/export, shipping, etc. Family owned and thus family oriented. Many of the employees there are just plain cool people. Relaxed work environment. Upper management is understanding, approachable, and forward-thinking.
Cons
Family owned business so many of the employees are relatives or family friends of ownership. Because of this, there is an air of office politics, bias, and blatant favoritism particularly from certain middle managers.
This is more of a beginner level job where you learn and get out. They'll pay according to this concept except when involving certain employees (relatives) who are paid more despite doing more or less the same type of work.
Few opportunities for advancement as this is a small company
