      Pros

      - people actually smile in the office - climate mission focused (also have the freedom to bring things up if you think this value is not being upheld) - software roles are data eng / fullstack / devops. - pretty product focused role, have autonomy at work, good collaboration culture

      Cons

      - if you're looking for a deeptech startup with a focus on optimization and incredible technical depth, this is not the place, since you function more so as a product engineer (not a pro or con really, just an outcome of the product we are building which has technical depth but isn't really complicated compared to let's say something like a database startup or a complicated distributed system, etc.)

      - Climate mission driven leadership - Does amazing and genuinely impactful work on the world - The team here is just the best <3

      Cons

      - First time startup leaders, while culture is really well put together today and the team is very mission focused, I do fear that we could see that crash as the company scales

      Humble, high-performance thrives at Paces. Everyone on the team is here to do great work alongside other great people. Respect and kindness are paramount, and the ethos of having fun at work can be found everywhere. Everyone is encouraged to bring their full selves to work, to be curious, to ask questions, to learn quickly, to do great work, and to push the product and the company forward every day. It's truly joy to work here!

      Cons

      None that come to mind! Paces is a fast-paced, tech-forward company disrupting the legacy space of energy and infrastructure. Taking on that challenge may not be the best fit for everyone, that's all.
