Pros
- Work on a product enabling healthcare workers to communicate better is greatly motivating factor. - There is lots to do, so you can make an impact. - Unlimited holiday allows you to take the time needed. - Work/life balance is good.
Cons
- Forms of bullying and harassment are tolerated by management (i.e being cursed at by a member of C-suite). - In the last year, the company has gone through 3 HRs. For most of that time, the position was not filled, causing lots of problems that are basic for a business (i.e not getting reimbursed back timely), and the happiness of people has really suffered. - Employee departure is very high. From when I joined, more than half of the team quit, especially those from minority groups. - With the new CTO, decisions are made without/very little consultation from those it effects. His communication is very poor and does not understand the level of security needed to be operating within the healthTech space.
