Pros
The team. At all levels of employment, the people that make up the company are people you would want to work with, and for. R&D team members are at the top of their game. Management is down-to-earth and makes employees feel like they are seen, as people not just as workers. The team feels like family. There is a lot of respect for work-life balance and particularly the needs of parents to young kids. There is a lot of freedom to work in a way that is most efficient for you (for example office vs. home working). The emphasis is on the quality of the work you do.

You are sometimes required/expected to do tasks which are not part of your job description (as is the case with most small companies).
