Pros

-Great Culture - Amazing people -Everyone holds on to PaperCut Values and truly lives by them -Benefits are getting better and Salary is generally good for the industry - Good work life balance if you make sure, you make that priority, company supports. - Management do the right thing by their people

Cons

- Very regionalised and feels like you are forever battling Melbourne (HQ) to listen to valuable feedback. - Non-stop busy - Under Resourced in all departments - Too many meetings and planning, which never drives to clear outcomes - Losing a battle when it comes to trying to make the product better - Internal processes very manual and clunky - All employees might as well count their jobs at working two peoples jobs

Thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated and please know I read them all. First, I’m thrilled to hear that PaperCutters are living our people-first values and principles. These are foundational to what has made PaperCut great and continue to drive decisions around investments in the business, our products, and most importantly our people and customers. It’s also great to hear that you feel supported to form a comfortable work-life balance at PaperCut. Your feedback around planning and processes does validate some known problems that have surfaced over the years. I hope that the rollout of the company strategy and the prioritisation of initiatives aligned to that strategy has improved your experience over the course of this year. I’m sorry to hear you feel we’re under-resourced. Our People & Culture team are delivering several initiatives as part of our People Strategy, focusing on retention and recruitment as well as a better definition of roles and team structures. This will allow us to better identify areas of the business that need more people, get them onboard quicker and keep them for longer. Regarding being listened to by Melbourne, I encourage you to utilise our engagement surveys and Leadership Team AMA sessions to share feedback and ask questions about what’s happening across the business and raise concerns if you feel regional voices aren’t being heard. However, if these aren’t delivering the outcomes you’d hoped for or if you wish to discuss any of your points further please reach out to me, or Mark Mackay if you'd prefer to retain your anonymity. The expertise in the regions outside of Melbourne is amazing. Our Portland and London teams are often far more connected to the customer and the market than we are here in Melbourne. We need to make sure we're listening to this. Again, I’d like to thank you for your feedback and your contribution to PaperCut over the years. - Chris

Pros

Bonus scheme You get paid if you work.

Cons

The leadership at this company is the worst I’ve seen in my entire career. The CEO clearly plays favorites these people get all the attention and praise. This year, one of the rudest and most inappropriate employees was actually rewarded for being “direct” during an all hands meeting. There are problems everywhere, and constant layoffs just to hit targets. The People team is honestly the worst I’ve ever dealt with and take forever to resolve anything.
