Pros
Great team, great team work life balance, always creating impactful code that's actually used, technology was kept up-to-date, salary was great. Senior engineers were very good mentors and managers supportive.
Cons
Company overachieved during Covid and overhired and had to do layoffs when the economy regressed in 2022. While salary was great, overall comp was less so. No 401K match, tiny annual raise, and stock options. Very little diversity as all the engineers were guys and mostly white (though the PMs, designers, and an analyst were gals but also mostly white) but not sure if that's due to bad hiring practice or because almost all engineering applicants just happen to be dudes. (personally it's not an issue for me, but noting it here in case it is for you) But regardless, everyone was very nice and inclusive.
