Pros
Just speaking from my own experiences, I made a big effort from the start of my time at the company to learn the product. Senior Management saw the time and passion I was putting in and I was rewarded for it - 3 promotions within 18 months including a drastic rise in pay and responsibilities. I have also seen a lot of people start in the base level role, and within 2 years start earning £70,000 per year regularly so the opportunities are certainly there.
This is a company that I see myself staying at, due to the trust that has been given to me and the potential for further growth.
Parago is now also in the US, and so the potential for movement and expansion across both offices has increased exponentially. There has been nearly a 100% increase in the customer base there in just the 6 months since the office was founded.
A general trend I have seen on those that have left the company, has been a lacking of product knowledge or the right attitude. If you start with some passion, let that continue, and learn the product then you are unlikely to fail. The majority of employees have been at the company for 5 years or more.
