Pros
- Good to learn the basics of recruitment - Incentives - In-house trainer
Cons
Everything else! - Outdated, 80ies like management style with core values such as mistrust your employees and control everything they do. - No flexibility at all. Very rigid working hours, no flex time, set lunch break (if you have a meeting or call in between - tough! No lunch break for you), sickness not allowed. During tube strikes or massive delays, you are expected to be above this and be in 8 am sharp. However, turning up hungover and late after a night our seems to be acceptable. - Economical developments aren't factored in and are qualified as excuses (i.e. Brexit is nonsense and isn't affecting billing). - Very average pay - Promises re promotion and salary increases are related to hitting KPIs - which have more often then not been changed once you hit them - leading to career progression being very sporadic and at the discretion of the MD, rather than being based on hitting your targets. - No transparency withing the business - 'Managers' are top billers pushed into these roles without having had any training. Leads to horrific management styles in most cases.
