Pros
The pay is decent hourly pay. Lots of shifts to pick up during the holidays. It is fast paced work with a big physical demand to set up and break down events and carrying heavy dinners, and balance fancy drink trays . Some events are popular events that are cool to be a part of. We also got to eat fancy event leftovers during our shifts.
Cons
. Some events can get pretty hectic and high stress. At times some chefs have been pretty rude to the FOH and didn’t function well under stress. Some servers help less than others and it sucks to have to pick up their slack while on the same shift.
