Best Workplace I've ever been - Senior Strategy Consultant Part and Sum Employee Review

An awesome place to work if you want your day to day work to be varied and constantly changing. You are given high level responsibilities even at more junior/mid level positions and asked to grow into them, you learn a lot very quickly and have the freedom to craft new ways of working and thinking about growing client's businesses. There is a strong emphasis on professional development and a generous budget to pursue whatever is interesting to you if it can help you internally or externally. There is a high degree of freedom and you never feel like someone is watching over you. The only expectation is to produce high quality work and push the thinking of the team forward. If you do that you are rewarded with more responsibility and people management opportunities.

If you need a high level of structure in your role, P+S is a difficult place to start. If you are looking for a place to be an intrapreneur and see a direct impact as a result of your work it is an awesome place to build a career.

Part + Sum is one of the most thoughtful companies I've had the pleasure of working at. They're very intentional with their culture and have hired some really smart people from very diverse backgrounds as they've grown the business. It's a place where I enjoy coming to work everyday, learning new things, and adding tremendous value to our clients. My favorite part about the company is its commitment to getting better. Every quarter, the founders do an offsite to set company goals, walk us through the numbers, and have fun team building activities. They even do an anonymous feedback survey to help them improve the internal culture. Lastly, Part + Sum is one of the few places where you can do great work and have a great life outside of it. I'm normally out of the office between 5 - 6 every day, and rarely have to answer messages outside of standard work hours.

It's not a con per se, but you need to be very self-directed at Part + Sum. Every employee is essentially a project owner, leading different initiatives with clients. If that's the kid of environment you thrive in, P+S is a really special place to work.
