Long hours! They schedule you for a 9-10 hour shift and then tell you that you aren't actually working that many hours because you get an hour lunch break (which is not paid.) Sometimes they let you go home early if the kids in your class leave early, but it doesn't make up for the stress of the job. The management makes you afraid to call out or take days off because the work culture insinuates that the school will fall apart if you miss one day. Management gossips about employees and families.
