Pros
Potential for growth. The product and the ideas behind it are huge. Getting a solid product built is a different story. If they manage to stabilize the product and built it properly, they could have a gold mine on their hands. This requires a solid management crew and some great developers and architects. Easier said than done.
Cons
When I was there it was the lack of leadership and confusion in middle management and upper management. some of this was caused by the group that owned the company. Supposedly this has changed with the selling of the corporate division and the house cleaning of upper management. The product was shaky and was released too soon. They got a black eye from it and have since backed up and started rebuilding the product and management from scratch. Here's hoping round two is successful.
