Pros

- The office was a friendly environment. - I was provided the necessary training to succeed at my job. - The management was approachable and kind. - It was a great small business feel where people cared about each other beyond the work. - I enjoyed the group breaks playing a game of "H" (shortened version of H-O-R-S-E) just to get up and move around a bit away from the computer and interact on a relational level. - I felt I received a fair wage for what I was producing for the company.

Cons

It is a small business so there aren't a ton of opportunities for higher-level advancement, if that's what you're looking for. However, the owners and management were good at noticing and rewarding effective/hard work. They also seemed willing to invest in and commit to folks interested in committing to a career at Pediment.

Pros

— 90% of staff work on Macs. Designers use up to date Adobe software — Easy commute driving through the country side to the rural town of Battle Ground — HSA or POP Health Insurance (about 50% paid for by employer) — SIMPLE IRA up to 3% match

Cons

— Quite office with little interaction with other employees — Limited time off with pay for first 5 years. 6 mandatory holidays and any sick days count towards your vacation time — Yearly (typically post 12 months) review check-ins. Little else beyond that — Payday once a month with paper checks. No willingness to go to direct deposit due to the hassle and cost of processing payment for less than 15 total employees. Check in hand varies from the 2nd to 6th of the month — Busy season for the majority of the employees is the nice PNW days of the year (June-Oct). — Little room for growth due to size. Yearly turn over for entry level positions — Better benefits in the past have been discontinued
