Pros
The benefits are great, especially the paid time off and the medical coverage. There are also discounts on cable service, Verizon and the local newspaper. You can learn a lot from your fellow employees (of course, that can be both a Pro and a Con depending on the circumstances.). They also offer educational reimbursement as well as shadowing opportunities. You have the ability to learn new things...embrace it.
Cons
Unless you work in more of an upper-level department, employees tend to be treated like grade school children. Entry-level positions tend to have younger hires by default, but instead of "punishing" on a case-by-case basis, they "punish" on the whole. Instead of offering a closed ended compliment, the standard is, "you did great in this area BUT..." I find some members of management highly questionable and rather detrimental to the internal work environment. Please understand that there is potential here, however currently, its is a work in progress. With some key changes, it could be a great place to not only start a career in...but to stay in long term.
