Pros

NONE It use to be a very good company but since the management change 3 years back. It going downhill.

Cons

No system, No work ethics, no motivation for employees, big talks zero output, no management vision to set a ground for makings of a proper engineering company. Bureaucracy, one-way communication, lacks modern practices in career development for staff. The only focus of senior management is to fill their own pockets and to save their jobs. Blame culture is encouraged by top management. Too much focus on internal politics then on making viable policies to be commercially successful. Big talk about values but no one follows it in senior management. No regards for employee rights. There is no job security and rules/processes to talk about, highly Toxic environment to work in. Do not recommend it for anyone. Don’t take this review as complaint from a disgruntled employee, these are the facts.

Pros

Good team of engineers and technicians to work with. Several solid managers and projects leads. Formally steady supply of work, even though it is less now.

Cons

Unfortunately, most of the team has left for better opportunity. Benefits were decent until the recent change over; HR's handling of the change over was absolutely terrible, with wrong information being sent out. Upper management is alienated from the employees, and have little regard for opinions or ideas other than their own. Projects are continuously underbid, in an effort "to win work", leaving employees working long days, weekends and holidays mostly for free. Management decisions, pay cuts and other policies make little sense. Projects won by an office (with capable people on standby) are sent to "favorite" offices. Meaning, billable work that would support local employees is sent to other offices because management has priorities out of order. Very cliquey office environment, with some outright disrespect and hostility, and constant slander of employees behind their backs (especially by non-management staff such as HR). Upper level management is constantly changing the chain of command (and then failing/refusing to follow it, but demanding everyone else obey it) around to suit personal wants and vendettas. It's a constant struggle to be heard and receive help/assistance when needed. Asking superiors for help usually results in an exasperated reply, as though you are inconveniencing them by seeking help. More often than not, tasks are dictated from one person to another, solely in an effort to shirk the work. In most cases, the person originally responsible for the task only completes it themselves IF they stand to gain (or make themselves look good) by doing so. There are a lot of issues with communication, projects that appear to occur behind closed doors as if there is something to hide. The system for finances is a disaster in and of itself, with lots of loose ends. Failure to pay bills has resulted in equipment and documents being held by storage companies. Clients do not receive invoices for work done in a timely manner, projects are not properly set up prior to start, etc.. If you do not constantly chase people when you need something done, it will never be done...and even then, you need to double and triple check it.
