Poor management and a zombie company - Forklift Operator Performance Food Group Customized Distribution Employee Review

Pros

None at all. Most people quit pretty fast. The only people who stay are the ones who have 20 or more years in and are set in there ways.

Cons

Childish supervisors, hostile work environment, Human Resources is the biggest waste of time, favoritism, just a bad place overall. It’s a zombie company on its way out it will be sold to US food’s shortly would be my guess. The transfers send the same products back and forth to the same locations which is a total was of time and fuel, nobody understands that.

Pros

They pay pretty well compared to the rest of the Nashville market. Discounts on high-end steaks/food occasionally.

Cons

Everyone has been there for 20+ years and very much has a “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mentality - completely opposite from what they preach during the recruiting and interview process. The office is WAY too casual and unprofessional. Lots of women in leggings/flip flops and most men didnt even tuck their shirts in. Jeans felt over dressed most days. Very stingy on company holidays and not at all flexible with their “hybrid” schedule. Theres nothing in Lebanon, TN that makes you want to be in office 3 days per week every single week, especially when you don’t interact with a single person most days. Outside of monthly exec meetings, conference rooms are almost always empty. You will be valued more for being “butt in seat” and sticking around for years with little to no upward movement than for what you can actually contribute. Most of their customers are dying restaurant brands and I don’t foresee them being around long-term.
